Muskets & Magic Blades, bows, and stolen flint

Sitari refuses the musket. Descendants of Death steal it. Neither army plays like Ignia.

Sitari and Undead Classes

Two of the four Muskets & Magic factions do not want a Napoleonic photograph. The Theocracy of Sitari charges with Sklirite and light. The Descendants of Death crawl out of a forest with someone else’s musket and a staff made of bone. Nanoplex Studio put both in this Roblox team PvP shooter so that early access is not only red versus green on a field. PC, mobile, and console still share the same kits. Crowns still only buy the look.

If you need the four-nation snapshot, use the factions overview. If you need blocks and bayonets, use melee combat. If you queued Light Mage or Necromancer, use how to play Mage. Remnants and Wickland Manor live in the maps guide with the rest of the pool.

Theocracy of Sitari

Light magic. Capital Nea Exari. Apostle Chrysanthe. About 3.3 million people, about 1 million in the Holy Sitarian Army. Motto: Body Guided by Light. One hundred twenty-eight islands, including Nea Exari and the Barbonesian chain. No muskets. Bows, blades, shields, spears, Sklirite armour, Staff of Light. They are mid-Grand Conquest of Ignian land, which is why an Ignian county named Wickland has a manor full of hymns.

Sitari is a melee-first army with one honest ranged specialist. If you play them like Line Infantry with prettier hats, you will die in the lawn. Play them like a siege crew that brought a church.

Lineman. Sword and shield, largest body of the army, eats musket smoke on purpose. You are the moving palisade. Hold block, walk forward, let Heavy Infantry be the drama.

Light Infantry. Archer. Raised with a bow, quiet shots, not obsolete just because Ignia invented the ramrod. You are the Rifleman analogue. Flank, pick Officers, never stand in the volley you were supposed to punish.

Heavy Infantry. Greatsword, heaviest Sklirite. Cleaves lines, then learns that armour has a musket-ball budget. Use on stairs, in kitchens, in any place a Grenadier would also be happy.

Knight. The officer-shaped hole. Shining armour of the infantry, charge leader, morale in plate. You are not a pistol Officer. You are the reason Linemen believe the smoke is survivable.

Engineer. Sitari Sapper. Axe, build, break. Same two-input building fantasy, different religion. Wickland Manor is your cathedral whether you are attacking or defending.

Doctor. Bandage analogue with light in the copy. Passive AOE healing. Keep the charge from evaporating after the first window volley.

Standard Bearer. Flag, faith, Apostle’s blessing in the flavour text. Same ticket-and-stamina job as an Ignian Ensign. If you hide the flag in a chapel nobody can reach, you are not blessing anyone.

Light Mage. Staff of Light. Beams that pierce, kneeling heals that save a mortally rude Knight. Dual kit. A Light Mage who only DPS-checks Ignia is a missing Doctor. A Light Mage who never beams is a missing rifle.

Sklirite is the faction cheat code until it is not. It resists projectiles and sharp weapons. It does not make you immortal in a ten-musket drill on open grass. Sitari wins close. Sitari loses fair fields. That is not an insult; it is the design.

Descendants of Death

Death, undead, forest. No emperor card, no county list, no polite motto. Development called them Children of Death. The playable name is Descendants of Death. They use any tool they can steal and still operate, which is why a rusty musket and a giant mace can spawn on the same team.

Cultist. The infantry-shaped hole that often holds a stolen firearm. You are not Line Infantry in a skull mask. You are a guerilla who can volley once and then disappear into brush. Reload in the open and Ignia will remind you that they practice this.

Undead Werewolf. Light infantry analogue with teeth instead of a rifle. Flank, collapse, do not 1v1 a prepared Grenadier in a doorway unless you like comedy.

Brute. Heavy analogue. Giant mace energy. You exist to break a cluster that thought a hedge was a fort. Sklirite Knights can duel you. Riflemen should never try.

Skeleton Officer. Officer-shaped hole. Stolen command, stolen angles, still the person who should be making the team look at one tree line instead of five. If your undead just feed in ones, you failed the skeleton.

Trapper. Sapper analogue. Traps, denial, the forest’s version of a palisade. Final Stand is your map. Wickland is someone else’s house.

Healer. Still a healer. Undead flesh still needs a medic, which is either funny or horrible. AOE and bandage logic still win ticket-adjacent chaos even when the mode is one life; a healed Werewolf is two lives in a trench coat.

Standard Bearer. Yes, the undead bring a flag. Tickets and stamina do not care about your theology. Plant it where Cultists can actually return.

Necromancer. Skeletal Staff. The unique mage. Not a Fire Glove with extra bones. You manipulate flesh, you pressure in woods, you make Remnants feel like a horror map instead of a melee arena. If the cap is open and you have not read the mage guide, leave the staff for someone who has.

Lore says nearby communities warn you off the forest for centuries. Gameplay says: if the loading card is trees, stop standing like a Zemliyan parade.

Remnants and Wickland Manor

Battle of the Remnants is Descendants of Death versus Sitari, Deathmatch, one life. No Ignian volley to hide behind. No 100-ticket cushion. Sitari wants to close and chop. DoD wants to ambush and snipe with stolen flint plus Necromancer pressure. Light Mage beams punish people who peak ruins. Werewolves punish people who peek without a friend. The team that treats this like Little Green loses in a minute.

Strike at Wickland Manor is Sitari versus Ignia, Attack Defense. Sitari is in someone else’s county and intends to keep the furniture. Ignia is the gunline on the lawn and the windows. Engineers and Sappers decide whether a doorway is a chokepoint. Knights and Linemen want interiors. Ignian Grenadiers want the same interiors from the other direction. Doctors and Surgeons keep the stairwell from turning into a morgue. This is the map that makes Sitari look overpowered to musket mains who refuse to learn melee combat.

Final Stand (DoD versus Ignia, Deathmatch) is the other forest lesson: living muskets versus guerillas, one life. It is not a Sitari map, but undead players should still live there. The maps guide lists the lore pairings so you stop being surprised by the vote.

How to beat muskets, and how muskets beat you

Sitari versus Ignia on a field: lose if you walk into a volley like the Light God personally issued bulletproof halos. Win if you force stairs, hedges, and rooms. Archers pick Officers. Light Mages punish clumps that stop to reload. Knights do not start the charge from 80 metres.

Sitari versus Ignia in the manor: win if Engineers own doors and Doctors own landings. Lose if you peek the lawn to “trade shots” you do not have.

Descendants of Death versus anyone in trees: win if Trapper and Necromancer set the terms and Cultists never reload on a skyline. Lose if you brute-force a parade square.

Descendants of Death versus Sitari in ruins: win the first contact. There are no tickets to apologise with. A wasted Werewolf is a wasted round.

Musket players who queued the wrong nation should still read this page. You will meet these kits. Bayonets and pistols matter more than you want. Earth rocks still work if Sitari stands still, which they should not.

Odd-faction homework

Do not main Sitari until you can win a melee trade without looking at the melee combat page mid-swing. Do not main Descendants of Death until you can tell Cultist from Brute at a glance. Do not take Light Mage or Necromancer until how to play Mage has taught you the dash. Then go back to the factions overview and pick your queue with the map in mind, not the tabard. Early access will retune Sklirite, stolen muskets, and staffs. It will not turn Sitari into a flintlock clone, and it will not turn the undead into a fifth county of Ignia. That stubbornness is the point of both armies.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Muskets & Magic players.

Does Sitari use muskets?

No. The Theocracy fights with melee, bows, Sklirite armour, and the Staff of Light. Light Infantry is the archer, not a rifleman in a different coat.

What is Sklirite?

A rare Sitarian metal used in heavy armour and weapons. It resists projectiles and sharp weapons, then fails if enough musket balls arrive. It is not a win button on open fields.

What were Descendants of Death called in development?

Children of Death. The playable faction name is Descendants of Death.

Which maps should these factions care about most?

Remnants is DoD versus Sitari Deathmatch. Wickland Manor is Sitari versus Ignia Attack Defense. Final Stand is DoD versus Ignia Deathmatch in a last-stand forest.

Is Necromancer just a reskinned Fire Mage?

No. The Skeletal Staff is a unique death kit. Fire supports a musket line. Necromancer pressures forests and ruins with undead tools. Read the mage guide before you take the cap.
